Asal Vaseghnia

About

At the center of Asal Vaseghnia’s work is a conversation between her voice and contemporary sounds. She works across composition, performance, and production, in the studio and in live settings. Over the years, she has learned from musicians across jazz, rock, electronic music, and a range of Persian, Armenian, Turkish, Arab, and other traditions. These encounters have broadened the way she listens and gradually found their way into her compositions. Read her full story →
